Soak up the debut video below featuring developer and publisher commentary, numerous lightsaber battles and peeks at a few different environments. Gameplay Video: Star Wars The Old Republic
Wandering Goblin — This video, released just yesterday, is our first real look at SW:TOR gameplay.  A few things that BioWare is trying to implement in TOR (it seems that "TOR", and not the impronouceable "SWTOR", is what the cool kids/devs are calling their game) leapt out from this video. The use of interactive companion characters - henchmen, essentially - is an old tabletop RPG staple, but has never been done very well in an MMO. TOR is innovating this into the game. Consequential decision making, which BioWare has some significant expertise in implementing in single player games, might be an excellent game mechanic.  Completing an ...
