Where is the PvP?
In all the discussion about Altdorf "fallen" (with everyone having a different definition of "fallen"), I failed to link to one of the most important blog posts on the subject: Saylah from Mystic Worlds asks the fundamental question about early morning raids of "Doesn’t that really just make it ...

"But if people actually *wanted* to play PvP, they wouldn't plan early morning raids. Instead the attackers just want to win, and the easiest way to win is to PvE, not PvP."

I can understand wanting to win, since after all, that's kind of the point, but do you really think people are consciously saying, "Oh, I should just find a way around the PvP and get to the boss." I'd be more inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt and congratulate them on their well-organized sneak attack. Thoughts?

A swim in the RvR lakes
Book of Grudges — ... Now, Tobold posted last week wondering where all the PvP was. When he sees Open RvR, he sees raid leaders avoiding open confrontation. and I wanted to pick up on that (this is not to do with the PvE PQs that you run when you sack the opposite city, which isn’t PvP at all, which was his other point). Scheduling for off-peak times. Looking to avoid the big battles. ...

A bit of PVP
currentpost.blogspot.com 9/11/2009 — So far it seems that pvp in Champions is a mixed bag, which is fine since pvp in any mmo is going to have its ups and downs. A PvP MMO Subscription
killtenrats.com 12/4/2008 — I really like Warhammer Online. Sure, it has its problems, but Mythic seems truly dedicated to the game (unlike some other newer MMOs). It has some level of PvE, but I have Lord of the Rings Online for PvE. Public Quests, I hope, will shape the ...
WAR review
tobolds.blogspot.com 9/10/2008 — Some readers preferred that I do a specific WAR review with a recommendation of whether to play it or not, so here is my take on that. As I've already talked enough about how the game works, this post is pure opinion. I don't do scores, but rather ...
