... The concept that comes to my mind is one that is unlikely to prove popular enough to support a game. Using the microtransaction model, focus on providing a small amount of exceptional content. Instead of demanding a subscription from people who may like the game but not feel compelled to keep paying for the game, we can offer paid content when it becomes available. Focus on providing high quality content, and hopefully people enjoy it enough to keep paying for it.
