MMeOw — ... Essentially, it was way bigger than it looked based upon the initial map overview. As noted by Turanian on the European forums, the area encompassed in this map is just a tiny piece of Mirkwood as it is mapped by Tolkien. Whether or not the game will expand beyond this is anyone’s guess (obviously the scale in the games isn’t quite what it is in the books), but personally I’m glad to be given a chance to check it out. For those who are interested, the zone has an official entry on the Lorebook. Thanks to Victor for pointing this one out! ...
