LotD Mockup Map I’ve been working hard at leveling my Ironbreaker on Phoenix Throne lately. He’s almost level 35 now and most of my time online has been allocated to the PvE quest grind and the occasional PQ group. While I was questing in Praag this afternoon it donned on me, ...

Reinventing WAR?
NecroRogIcon — I admire Keen's persistence and passion, he so badly wants WAR to be the game he imagined it would be. He's created a map and an outline for what he hopes the Land of the Dead update will be. The past few months WAR has seen a lot of changes, big and small. Some of it goes with the territory for any MMO release. The more game-changing stuff has been accoladed while my mouth is agape. If the game didn't need the changes so much, the playerbase might have revolted, but like Keen they're a persistent lot: They want their RvR that bad. And it still ...

WAR review
tobolds.blogspot.com 9/10/2008 — Some readers preferred that I do a specific WAR review with a recommendation of whether to play it or not, so here is my take on that. As I've already talked enough about how the game works, this post is pure opinion. I don't do scores, but rather ...

What the numbers mean
tobolds.blogspot.com 2/11/2009 — Yet another post about WAR having 300k subscribers, and what it all means. There were several comments on this blog saying that 300k wasn't that bad, and as Syncaine pointed out , those subscription numbers probably mean that WAR is the number 2 ...
WAR’s Greatest Flaw
keenandgraev.com 11/2/2008 — I like to analyze the games that I’m playing. I can’t help it - it’s a habit. I almost derive as much pleasure from dissecting them and thinking about them as I do from playing them. I know, I’m seeking help, but until that ...
Tug of WAR
tobolds.blogspot.com 10/10/2008 — On November 13 me and many other MMORPG players will have to make a decision: Do we continue to play Warhammer Online, or do we go back to World of Warcraft and the new Wrath of the Lich King expansion? So somewhere in my head there is a little ...
Return of the WAR
bookofgrudges.wordpress.com 3/17/2009 — As I think the majority of readers here knows, I took a bit of a break from WAR and have recently returned to playing more regularly with my little Warrior Priest (who dies a LOT thanks to a sea of Choppas, and contrary to popular belief!). Was ...

Warhammer Online: a new hope for open RVR
walloftext.info 10/30/2008 — WAR is a brand new mmorpg and has its fair share of issues, like any new mmorpg would. Its not for everyone, and takes a certain mindset to enjoy it fully. If you like heavily PVE focused games like EQII, WoW, etc...there's a good chance that WAR just ...
