Muckbeast definitely hates Bill Roper . While I can't say who is responsible, I must say the stats and abilities of Champions Online confuse me, and seeing that a respec costs $12.50 from the Champion Online item shop makes me think that this might be deliberate. Spinks asks whether Champions ...

... want bigger numbers, stop listening to the elitist gamers. Stop building dungeons and start building games. If however you just want to build the next ball buster, then don’t get uppity when you don’t get 11 million subscribers. Otherwise, start learning what it takes to sell a game to a family audience and to a female audience. Start building games that will sell to pve players, pvp players, and crafting players.

Aion - Levels 1 to 10
blog.weflyspitfires.com 9/27/2009 — Eventually this weekend I managed to ascend in Aion and hit level 10 with my now Asmodian Gladiator, Mantooth. It took me a while to get there due to the fact that I’ve been busy in real life as I’m in the midst of moving apartment and also that I found leveling in Aion to be ...
Two Kinds of Developer Relations
eldergame.com 25 days ago — There seem to be two main ways that MMO developers interact with players. These two ways have serious pros and cons, but too often the choice isn’t made consciously. Instead, the choice comes from the culture and situation the team finds itself in. But if you make an explicit decision, ...
Q&A: Aion vs. WoW
keenandgraev.com 7/5/2009 — I received another request to expound upon Aion by comparing it to another game. This time the questions are very specific and provoke some thought and quite possibly a good discussion regarding World of Warcraft and Aion. I will do my best to ...
Aion Ain’t For Me
biobreak.wordpress.com 7/7/2009 — Every time a new MMO is on the launching pad, staring down the final days of closed/open beta for the big blastoff, we seem to go through the same cycle. No matter what the title is, people just stream out of the woodwork to gush about it, talking ...
Aion review - beta version
tobolds.blogspot.com 7/13/2009 — As "how much time do you need to play an MMO to review it?" is a controversial subject, I'll start this by stating exactly how long I played and what I did: I played Aion during the 3rd closed beta event weekend, for over 20 hours, leveling a priest ...

So, you're a big fan of World of Warcraft (or at least you were at one time) and you've heard about this new MMO called Aion . "Hmmm, I wonder what that's all about?" you ponder. "Anything similar?" you posit. "What's so different?" Well, we've ...
Farewell Aion
weritsblog.com 11/3/2009 — If you have been reading my recent articles about Aion, it should be no surprise that I have canceled my subscription. Since well before launch I have been cynical towards Aion, but the game at least deserved a try. Much to my surprise it ...

Hudson wanted a look at the Aion UI — and that’s fair.
I found out that Aion was built on the Crytek engine, and that implies it won’t “run on a toaster”, the famous boast Blizzard made about WoW.

Aion Beta
blog.weflyspitfires.com 7/5/2009 — As pretty much everyone on the planet knows, the 3rd Aion Beta event is underway this weekend but maybe what they don’t know is that I happen to also be partaking in it. I don’t really want to go into huge detail about it all because almost every other blog out there has already ...

Aion is not an innovative MMO. Anybody will tell you that.
