Go Mythic Go!
It's incredibly encouraging to see Mythic take the bull by the horns, addressing the Open RVR issues that Warhammer seems to be having: oRvR should be a major focus for leveling, item gain, etc. in WAR. Some of the systems are already in place and in Tier 4, oRvR is alive ...

Mythic: The definition of the word "contribution" does not mean "random luck"
walloftext.info — I feel cheated. Seriously. Why? For months we have been trying to figure out why some bum who does nothing wins a gold bag from a keep seige and yet another who damaged or healed his face off got 123rd in contribution with no hope of winning loot. ... Mark Jacobs on ORVR
The Cesspit. - Home of the fool (on a hill) — ... message from VN as a slight elaboration on what I said up here: Seems like your adding a bunch of stuff but not fixing any of the underlying problems. Why add an RVR influence system when you already have renown ranks? Just make the renown ranks actually mean something would seem a better idea instead of adding yet another grind to your game. Or, in F13 way of putting things: YET ANOTHER FUCKING EXPERIENCE BAR P.P.S. Fanboys.

A Non-Player's Perspective on Warhammer Patch 1.2
playervsdeveloper.blogspot.com 3/6/2009 — Certain people apparently feel that the timing of WoW's 3.1 PTR's is an attempt by Blizzard to overshadow the launch of Warhammer's 1.2 patch . I remain skeptical - when Blizzard decides to bury you in hype , it's generally a bit less subtle than ...
